- July 9: Financial Aid Disbursement for Fall 2021
- August 17: Deadline for the Osmosis Raise the Line Scholarship
This scholarship is aimed at students who are enrolled in or accepted into health professions programs such as an M.D. or D.O. program. Eligible candidate must be U.S. citizens. Incoming first-year students are also eligible to apply. Prizes are One $5,000 USD award and five individual $1,000 USD awards.
- August 19: Fall 2021 Tuition Payment Deadline (4:00 pm HST)
- August 20: Deadline for the Gloves $1,000 Scholarship Program
Gloves is thrilled to announce their first-ever Gloves scholarship for students who strive for excellence and outstanding performance. The contestant must write a 500-word essay about the following: “Is there a Relationship Between Bad Health and Poverty?” Essays must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- August 31: Deadline for the 100Plus Scholarship Program
Contestants must provide an answer to the following question: “How will remote patient monitoring technology advance in the future to provide better health for the patients?” and submit their response in an acceptable media format including Word document, PowerPoint, or short Video. - August 31: Deadline for the White Coat Investor Medical School Scholarship
Only professional students enrolled full-time in a professional school located in the U.S. for the 2021-2022 year and are in good academic standing are eligible. Applicants must submit an 800-1200 word proofread essay written in English on any topic. Only 10-winners will be selected and the award amounts will vary. - September 1: Deadline for The Law Offices of Joseph J. Bogdan, LLC Healthcare Professional Scholarship
This scholarship is to support the education of a student who is pursuing a career in healthcare that requires a professional license. The award is $1000. To be eligible; you must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. undergraduate or graduate program this Fall 2021, with the intent to earn a degree that helps them qualify for professional healthcare licensure. Applicants must submit a one-page essay (approximately 500 words) responding to the following question: “How will this scholarship benefit or help to further your education?” Please visit the website for additional information and to submit your essay.
- October 1: Deadline for the Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. Medical Diversity Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2014, is part of Buckfire Law's initiative to recognize medical school students who do outstanding work to promote ethnic diversity in their community. The scholarship is available to all medical school students in the United States who work hard to promote ethnic diversity in their communities. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply.
- October 28: Deadline for the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans
- December 12: Deadline for the 2022 Karl Jaspers Award
The Association for the Advancement of Philosophy and Psychiatry (AAPP) holds an annual competition for student and trainees. Eligibility includes medical students, graduate students in philosophy, psychology and related fields, and residents and fellows in psychiatry. The award is given for the best paper in the area of philosophy of psychiatry and cannot have been published or submitted for publication prior to submission. The award is a cash prize of $350 and recognition in AAPP publications. For additional details, visit the AAPP website.
